Good Morning! Feb 16, 2007Finish the namebanner today. Put it in a folder with a completed grading rubric. Name the folder namebanner.yourintials.per# Turn in the folder to the public server dropbox by the end of the period. Feb 15, 2007 Continue working on your name banner. Make something really special! This assignment is due tomorrow. Feb 14, 2007 Publish your flash.7 and send me the .swf file. It is very important that it named correctly because there is no folder and no rubric, just the .swf file. If you send me the wrong thing, or it named incorrectly, I will trash it!! so get it right the first time!! Then, go to the assignments page and click on Name Banner. This is the beginning of a website about you. Your name should feature prominently, but ther should be no buttons of any kind. This is where you get to stretch your artistic wings. This is due on Friday. Feb 13, 2007 You should have turned in flash. 5 and flash.6 yesterday. Today we will talk about flash.7 and how and when to use shape tweening. If you started flash.7 yesterday, that is fine, but we are going to ramp up the degree of difficulty so that you can make something really special. Feb 12, 2007 I'm back!! Let's take some time to figure out where everyone is before we move on. Feb 9, 2007 Finish flash.6 today. Publish it, and put the .swf file (the blue one) in a folder with a completed grading rubric. Name the folder flash.6.yourinitials.per# DO NOT turn it in today, as I am not there to collect it, but rather, save until Monday when I will return. Have a nice weekend. Feb 8, 2007 For extra credit, design a greeting card for President's Day using Flash. Make a button that then starts a message that uses text and graphics. Name this flash.6xtra.yourinitials.per# You will turn it in with flash. 6 tomorrow. Feb 7, 2007 Continue working on flash.6. We will spend a little extra time on this so that the people who are testing won't fall behind. I understand that some of you are unhappy with your grades. Very simply, you must turn in the work on time to the CORRECT drop box. If your grade is not what you thought it would be, I suggest you look in the drop box on the computer you are working on, or in the drop box in your server folder. You will probably find assignments that you thought you turned in. Moreover, there are many of you who play around in class--play games, look at interesting websites, do work for other classes. This is not going to work! When you are in this class, be about OUR business. Feb 6, 2007 Go to the assignments page and click on flash.6. We'll have to see how many people are out for testing before we can decide when this is due. In any case, open it up and get started. Feb 5, 2007 Finish flash.5 today. Publish it, and put the .swf file (the blue one) in a folder with a completed grading rubric. Name the folder flash.5.yourinitials.per# DO NOT turn it in today, as I am not there to collect it, but rather, save until I tell you to turn it in. You will get another assignment tomorrow, so make sure that you get this finished today. BTW, students who have been out for test prep will not have to turn this in, but you should review the requirements so that you may move on. Feb 2, 2007 Continue working on flash.5. It is due on Monday. Feb 1, 2007 Publish flash.4a,b, & c and put the .swf files in a folder with a completed grading rubric. Name the folder flash.4.yourinitials.per# and send it to the drop box on the public folder. Then, Go to the assignments page and click on flash.5. This is more complicated than you have done thusfar, so pay attention to the demonstration. This will be due on Monday. Jan 31, 2007 Continue working on the solar system today. Make sure you have at least three planets, but eight would be better. Also, go to the assignments page and click on flash.4c. Make a button. Jan 30, 2007 Go to the assignment. page and click on flash.4b.You are going to make a solar system using flash. Pay special attention to the size and perspective of the planets. This is the first of three parts of flash.4. Jan 26, 2007 Flash.3 is due today. Publish (File>Publish) all of you flash.3 files (flash.3a, flash.3b, flash.3c) and put the .swf files in a folder named flash.3.yourinitials.per# Properly fill out a project rubric. Jan 23, 2007 Sorry I could not be with you yesterday or today. I hurt my back and I am spending all my time at the chiropractor. I hope to join you tomorrow. For today, continue working with the stick man. If you have made him (her) go all the way across and back, try making him do some other things. Jan 22, 2007 Go to the assignments page and click on flash.3b. This is a continuation of what we did on Friday. You are to make a stick man, and using keyframe animation, make him walk all the way across the stage and back again. Also, take out a sheet of paper, write your name, date, and per# on it, then write the names of the four panels that you must have open in Flash at all times. Turn it in before the end of the period. This is an assignment worth 10 points, and may only be turned in today. Jan 19, 2007 Go to the assignments page and click on flash.3a. This is where we start to make things move! Jan 18, 2007 Flash.2 is due today. Fill out a project rubric COMPLETELY (make sure you name it properly) and put it and all the files that you made (flash.2, flash.2a, etc) into a folder called flash.2.yourinitials.per# and send it to the dropbox in the publc server by the end of the period. Jan 17, 2007 Continue to work on flash.2. If you finish early (which you most certainly will), just repeat the process using different words and graphics. Remember to name subsequent file flash.2a, b,c, etc, otherwise your files will be erased. This is due tomorrow. Jan 16, 2007 Go to the assignments page and click on Flash.2. When your button AND your rubric are finished, choose File>New Folder on your desktop. Name this folder flash.1.yourinials.per# Put your flash file and your excel file in the folder, and send it to the Public dropbox on MY server. I will show you how to do this. Then save the folder in YOUR server folder. Jan 11, 2007 Continue to work on flash.1. We will review the steps today. It is due tomorrow. Jan 10, 2007 You did well on the quiz yesterday.
